Clinical Audiologist
Jim Thompson,
owner of Thompson Audiology since its opening in 1983, received
his M.S. in Audiology from Brigham Young University in 1969,
and his B.S. in Speech and Hearing from BYU in 1967.
Jim was
certified by American Speech and Hearing Association in 1970
and is a Washington State certified audiologist. He is a fellow
of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Dispensing
Audiologists.
A member
of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Washington
Society of Audiology, and Washington Hearing Healthcare Providers.
Mr. Thompson currently serves as President of the Washington
Audiology Alliance, a statewide organization of private practitioners.
His expertise
includes audiological testing and aural counseling.
Jim delights
in family activities, is committed to volunteer church service
and leadership, and is an avid traveler and college sports
fan. He is a member of Yakima Rotary Club.
