Electronics
components are housed in a small case worn behind the ear and are
connected by tubing to a custom-fit earmold. Typically BTEs are
durable, comfortable and easy to maintain. Appropriate for most
hearing losses.
BTE

BTE |

Components
fit entirely in a small custom molded case that fits in the outer
portion of the ear canal. ITE’s are aids are light and easy
to manage. This style is generally appropriate for less severe hearing
loss.
ITE |
ITE |

These instruments
are custom molded to fit further into the ear canal than ITEs. This
style typically appropriate for mild to moderate hearing losses.
ITC

ITC |

This style is
the most recent and smallest available. The cosmetically appealing
CIC is custom molded to fit discreetly deep into the ear canal.
This style is limited to individuals with ear canals of adequate
size to accommodate deep insertion. Typically CICs are available
for individuals with mild to moderate hearing losses.
